A California native and bicultural Latina, Stephanie Baca is a recognized and respected professional in the Hispanic marketing industry.
With coveted experience at Univision and executive posts at leading Los Angeles Hispanic agencies, Stephanie offers her clients specialized knowledge and experience in communications programs and marketing activities that reach out to U.S. Hispanics. Her unique background that includes media, advertising, and marketing expertise, allows her to provide added-value services that generate successful programs for her clients.
Stephanie began her career in broadcast advertising and promotion, working for several local television and radio stations in San Diego, California. Upon receiving her M.S. in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University, Stephanie was recruited to Univision Communications, the largest Spanish-language network in the country. Her management position with the company began her foray into Hispanic marketing and she has not looked back since.
Her work at Univision included promotional and integrated marketing campaigns for major advertisers such as Bank of America, General Motors, McDonald's, and Nestle. Her success with these clients led her to an executive position at Anita Santiago Advertising, a leading Hispanic agency in Los Angeles. As Senior Vice President, Stephanie was charged with running the agency and overseeing all account activity for its clients, including The California Milk Processor Board, Carl's Jr., Foster Farms, IKEA, PacifiCare, and Wells Fargo. Stephanie's career highlights also include a post at another local Los Angeles agency, focusing on strategic planning and research for The Southern California Ford Dealers Association.
Stephanie opened her own marketing consultant firm in 2006 with a desire and committment to assist companies and advertising agencies in creating breakthrough programs to effectively and efficiently reach the U.S. Hispanic consumer. Since the company's inception, she has helped to launch companies in the Hispanic market and provide blueprints for marketing activity in several categories, including real estate, automotive, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, and non-profit. She also works with several local advertising agencies in Los Angeles, consulting on new business initiatives and strategic planning projects.
Stephanie's knowledge of the Hispanic market has led her to be sought as an industry expert by several leading Hispanic trade publications. She has provided her perspective on relevant industry topics in Hispanic Market Weekly and TelevisonWeek, among others. She has also published articles in The Advertiser and The Journal of Integrated Marketing Communicatons. Stephanie has also been a featured speaker at numerous local seminars and national conferences on a variety of topics related to Hispanic marketing, across several industry categories.
Stephanie holds a B.A. in Communication from University of California, San Diego and a M.S. in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University. She lives in Hermosa Beach, California with her husband and two daughters.
